0meter is a contemporary dance duet choreographed by Karima El Aidaoui. Inspired by the physical principles of Rekba, a collective practice from southern Morocco, the work explores endurance, rhythm, repetition and shared presence as choreographic tools. The project reflects on the gradual disappearance of human connection in an increasingly accelerated and mediated world. Through a continuous dialogue between two bodies, 0meter investigates how movement can become a space for listening, resistance and reconnection.
0meter هو عمل ثنائي في الرقص المعاصر من تصميم وإخراج الراقصة ومصممة الرقص كريمة العيداوي. يستلهم العمل مبادئه الحركية من الركبة، وهي ممارسة جماعية من جنوب المغرب، ليجعل من التحمّل، والإيقاع، والتكرار، والحضور المشترك أدواتٍ أساسية في البحث الكوريغرافي. يتأمل المشروع التلاشي التدريجي للعلاقات الإنسانية في عالم يتسم بالتسارع والوسائط الرقمية المتزايدة. ومن خلال حوار جسدي متواصل بين راقصين، يبحث 0meter في الكيفية التي يمكن أن تتحول بها الحركة إلى فضاءٍ للإصغاء، والمقاومة، وإعادة بناء الصلة الإنسانية.
